The contact owns a 2024 Genesis G80. The contact stated while driving at undisclosed speeds, the passengerâs side rear corner blind spot sensor intermittently became inoperable. The contact was unaware of any warning lights being illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed, and it was determined that the radar detector was the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was taken to another local dealer, Genesis of Merrillville, (1000 81st Ave., Suite 100, Merrillville, IN 46410); who determined there were unknown parameters causing the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the local dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.
