WHILE DRIVING AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS I GET A BAD VIBRATION. I HAVE READ WHERE A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH THE COLORADO. DEALER SAYS TO WAIT FOR A RECALL. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT REPAIRED NOW. I PAID OVER 30,000 FOR THIS VEHICLE AND CAN'T DRIVE IT THE WAY I WOULD LIKE TO. IT WILL LOOSEN EVERY BOLT ON THE VEHICLE.

THE VEHICLE WAS GOING DOWN HILL ON A VERY BUSY HIGHWAY WHEN WE TAPPED THE BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN AND THE BRAKES WENT TO THE FLOOR AND WE SKID ABOUT 300 YARDS BEFORE BEING ABLE TO GET THE TRUCK TO COME TO A STOP. WE KEPT TAPPING BRAKES TRYING TO GET THEM TO GRAB AND STOP US LUCKILY, THE CAR A HEAD OF US TURNED RIGHT AT THE LIGHT SO WE DID NOT CRASH INTO THEM. THEN WHEN IT DID STOP THE RPM STARTED REEVING UP AND THE TRUCK LUNGED FORWARD THEN THE RPM WENT DOWN. WE WERE VERY LUCKY WE DID NOT GO THROUGH THE INTERSECTION AND WRECK.

WHILE TRAVELING STRAIGHT DOWN A GRAVEL DRIVEWAY THE FRONT PASSENGER CONTROL ARM BROKE CAUSING THE WHEEL TO COLLAPSE AND FOLD UP UNDER THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH. THE DRIVER NOTICED LOSS OF STEERING AND THEN AN ABRUPT STOP. THERE WERE NO SIGNS THAT ANYTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE BEFORE THE INCIDENT OCCURED. THE VEHICLE DID NOT STRIKE ANYTHING TO CAUSE THE DAMAGE. THE DRIVEWAY WAS IN GOOD CONDITION AND THERE WAS NOTHING UNUSUALLY THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED THIS TYPE OF FAILURE. NO ONE WAS HURT IN THE INCIDENT. THE FRACTURE IN THE CONTROL ARM SHOWS SIGNS OF CRACKING (BASED ON PICTURE ATTACHED).

I was stopped, and given a warning by a police officer for having no tail lights whatsoever. All other lights were functioning, and they had been fine the day before. These vehicles have four identical stop and tail lamp bulbs. I tested with my multimeter, and found that there was current at the socket. I replaced all four bulbs. Upon inspection, I determined that a SINGLE bulb of the four had a broken filament. It seems ridiculous that one bulb failing should cause the other three to go off duty. What is the point of two bulbs on each side, if they all quit when one dies?

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact's husband stated that while driving 20 MPH, while attempting to turn into a parking lot, and another vehicle was attempting to exit the same parking lot, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to respond. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact's husband depressed the brake pedal, the brake pedal seized, and the contact had to veer and downshift to first gear to avoid crashing into the other vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle with vacuum pump failure and a fractured part from the vacuum camshaft. The vehicle was not fully repaired. The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not repaired by the dealer because the vehicle was not under recall and parts were on back order, as per the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.

We purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado December 2022. Beginning in January 2023 to current month July 2023 the vehicle has been at the dealership 4 times for the same occurrence: SERVICE STABILITRAK and ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED A warning âdingâ sounds (the same noise as seatbelt, door ajar, etc) simultaneously with the messages âSERVICE STABILITRAKâ and âENGINE POWER IS REDUCEDâ The vehicle immediately is jerking or lurching, the engine no longer runs smoothly and is misfiring. The engine power reduced does not allow safe acceleration, and the vehicle is unstable (as it moves it feels like driving over a thousand speed bumps over and over), the engine misfiring is heard from the exhaust and the vehicle is visibly vibrating, on acceleration the maximum speed is 20 mph. All 4 times this has happened while driving the vehicle on highways in traffic. We are left unable to get out of the way of moving traffic, unable to accelerate, change lanes or make turns safely. Three of the four times we had the vehicle towed to the dealership. The last time the vehicle did this fortunately I was near our local dealership and drove it less than a mile so the service people could âwitnessâ what I had been trying to explain whatâs been happening with this vehicle. This is a very serious issue! My husband is 75 and very ill. I have to drive him 100+ miles for treatments on a regular basis. We cannot continue to be put in danger because of this vehicle default. We need this problem fixed not only for ourselves but for the safety of others, including unsuspecting drivers and innocent passengers, young, elderly, disabled, some simply misunderstanding our vehicles âfailures to performâ in traffic on the roads. A trusted vehicle is very important. A stabile vehicle with sufficient engine power is a must if we are going to put it on the roads. âSERVICE STABILITRAKâ and âENGINE POWER IS REDUCEDâ is not new. General Motors needs to take action to correct this problem and educate dealers.

* The touch screen went blank. After inspection by Dealer, it was discovered the radio failed causing this event to occur. * Without this component, the turn signals did not work properly, the seat belt warning did not sound, there was no access to rear camera, and rear cross traffic warnings and back-up camera did not work. In addition, access to On Star did not work for any emergency situations. * Dealer confirmed the radio caused this issue. * Only the Dealer inspected the vehicle. * There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the event occurring. It happened after starting the vehicle one morning (April 25, 2023). Additionally, the light on the touch screen remained on when the motor was turned off, causing drain of the battery and leaving me stranded. I had to call emergency services to help me. I had to purchase a new battery because of this along with the purchase of a new radio component as well as pay for re-programming of the system. Total cost of this incident was $1,400.71. It should also be noted that the vehicle only has 65,000 miles on it.
