DRIVING HIGHWAY SPEED. MY TRUCK HAD 5-6 GALLONS IN THE TANK. SUDDENLY THE LIGHTS ON DASH WENT OFF AND LOSS OF POWER. TRUCK WOULD ONLY DRIVE 25MPH. I HAD TO PULLOVER AND THOUGHT I WAS GONNA GET CRUSHED BY THE 18 WHEELER BEHIND ME. VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. NOW I DO NOT LET THE TANK GET BELOW 1/2 EMPTY. VERY ANNOYING FOR A $55,000 TRUCK

WHILE DRIVING THE TRUCK AT NORMAL SPEED 45+ MILES AND SLOWING DOWN VEHICLE HAS SEVERE VIBRATION FELT THROUGH OUT THE CAR. IT GETS WORST WHEN BRAKING SLOWLY AS IT COMES TO A STOP. ITS FELT ON THE STEERING WHEEL, BRAKE PEDAL, SEATS AS WELL AS THROUGH OUT THE ENTIRE TRUCK. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID IT'S NORMAL BUT I HAVE NEVER FELT THIS ON ANY TOYOTAS. I HAVE WORKED FOR TOYOTA FOR MANY YEARS AND TO HAVE THE DEALERSHIP TELLING ME THIS IS NORMAL IS JUST CRAZY. DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE NEVER TEST DROVE THE 2019 TOYOTA TACOMA THAT WE WERE GIVEN TO PURCHASE, AND MY HUSBAND DROVE THE VEHICLE HOME I DID NOT HAVE THE CHANCE TO TRY THE VEHICLE UNTIL WE ARRIVED HOME. THE FIRST TIME THAT I SAT IN THE VEHICLE, I FELT EXTREME DISCOMFORT AND ELECTRIC SHOCKS FROM THE VEHICLE, VERY SIMILAR TO THE ELECTRIC SHOCKS THAT I RECEIVED FROM THE 2017 TOYOTA PRIUS. MY HUSBAND THOUGHT THAT IT WAS CAUSED FROM MY HEALTH CONDITION FROM MY CAR ACCIDENT AND HE AGREED THAT, SINCE I DID NOT FEEL ANY DISCOMFORT DRIVING THE SIENNA, HE WOULD BE THE ONLY THAT WOULD DRIVE THE TACOMA AND THAT I WOULD PRIMARILY DRIVE THE SIENNA. WHEN WE TOOK THE 2019 TOYOTA SIENNA BACK TO DEALERSHIP ON FEBRUARY 13, 2020, I WAS FORCED TO DRIVE THE 2019 TOYOTA TACOMA AND WHILE DOING SO I FELT THE SAME ELECTRIC SHOCKS AND THEY WERE MORE INTENSE AND STRONGER TO EXTENT THAT IT CAUSED EXTREME PAIN IN MY STOMACH AND BRUISES ON MY BODY. IN THE CASE OF THE SEATBELT, IT DID NOT REST ON MY NECK LIKE THE IN THE SIENNA, BUT IT RESTED ON MY ARM WHERE I RECEIVED BRUISES FROM THE SEATBELT.

Coming back home at 15:00 on 12 /22/22 it was light snow day on two lane county road my wife was following back for are mother in laws , West snoqualmie valley road carnation Washington , speed 30 miles per hours I was coming into a turn that cautions 35 miles or less and the. My dash comes up a yellow triangle with a exclamation and my brake pedal disappears out from under my feet and the brakes lock up and slide of the side of the road into the grass , put the truck into park then I try to put engage the brake pedal up towards me with my foot and the motor stalls /cuts out , I push the start button system comes back on and out into four wheel drive to get out of the grass/ cow field and the check engine stays yellow . I take it Toyota and they tell me everything is fine and it was just a traction issue with the program of the truck

My car while driving every so often miles will have the abs light go on with the traction control light and the amb symbol going off. When plugged into device at auto zone code C1422 stating the master cylinder pressure sensor zero point high. Iâve tried replacing the break light switch which is a common repair for people with that problem Iâve checked all harness and wiring all is intact and undamaged/ no water damage. When I look up my vin number in kellybluebooks website a recall appears for a brake master cylinder recall for improper machining of the brake master master cylinder. Which will cause internal damage of one of the seals, affecting brake performance. It affected 44121 of vehicles of my year. But when looked up in this website and Toyota no recalls appear which is strange. The defect it has when the abs light and etc. lights go off is it will force the car to stop moving by locking the brake system and smoking out the calipers till brought to 0mph which is very dangerous when operating in the freeway as cars behind my arenât expecting a sudden stop. The repair is to replace the whole master cylinder. Which Toyota would want me to pay but it should be a defect from a recall.

I have 4 Toyo Open Range A31, P25 45 R16 Tires on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma. They were new tires on the 2019 Tacoma when I purchased it new from the Toyota Dealership in August 2019. 4 tires on the Tacoma and 1 Spare tire. I noticed over he life of these 4 Toyo tires they wore rapidly and chunked and lost chunks of rubber in the tread areas. I always rotated and balanced my Toyo tires as required. I had yearly front end alignments done . 2020 and 2021. I do an air check every 30 days. There are no mechanical problems with my 2019 Toyota Tacoma. When these Toyo Open Range A31 Tires were new they started out at 11/32 tread in August 2019. As previously noted all 4 tires wore rapidly and chunked, rubber loss in thread. By October 2021at 19,500 all 4 Tires were at 5/32 closer to 4/32 and had Chunking Rubber loss in threads on all 4 tires. These tires lasted 2 years and 19,500 miles and must now be replaced. Toyota does not warranty the Toyo Tires and told me to deal with Toyo Tires directly. Toyo Tire has been challenging to deal with and are only offering 25% off towards a purchase of 4 new Toyo Tires. This in Unacceptable. Its reasonable for a consumer to expect more than 19,500 miles or 2 years from tires. The Big Picture and Major Concern is Safetey !! These Toyo Open Range A31 Tires Wore Out and Chunked with Rubber Loss in Thread by the time they were 2 years old and by the time they reached 19,500 miles. For safety reason I must replace these tires. I respectfully request that NTSB investigate this serious safety matter.
10/28/2021
A severe crack formed around the full circumference of tire near where the sidewall joins to the tread. The tire started leaking air and the severe crack was found while mounting the spare tire. The crack was present on the inside of the tire and therefore not visible until the wheel was removed. This crack was on its way to a catastrophic failure of the tire. The crack was found at 23500 miles on a tire with claimed treadlife of 60,000. This was the tire sold with my new 2019 Tacoma: Goodyear Wrangler AT Adventure with Kevlar 265/70R16. The Toyota dealership said to take the problem to GY but GY has no recall on this tire and I do not want any new GY tire if offered a replacement.

I currently own a 2019 Tacoma with around 70,000 miles on it. I keep up with all the Toyota recommended maintenance services to make sure my vehicle is well taken care of. So, while driving the vehicle on the interstate it drastically slowed down on its own and I could not get the gas pedal to engage almost causing a rear end collision. This also happened on two other occasions at lower speeds. My display stated I was having issues with ABS, Collision, and that I was pressing the gas pedal and break at the same time. My vehicle has been at the dealership for 4 days now with no resolve or any answers to why the vehicle is slowing down on its own. I feel the vehicle is a health/safety issue and I will not drive it until the issue is resolved. The computer was also flashed by Toyota a year earlier as I was experiencing a lag in engine engagement and high rpm's when the vehicle shifted from first to second gear. Something the tech noted he experienced driving it. It's also an issue I've had since purchasing the vehicle. I had to bring the vehicle back a month later as it started doing the same thing but was told they could not find any issues. I have found many other forums and spoke with other Tacoma owners who have had similar issues. I feel Toyota is definitely aware of the issues but not addressing them! I hope to get some answers soon!

This describes false alarms by the vehicle electronics. About once every four to six months, the center display on the dash says, "BRAKE," and a Sonalert-type steady beep comes out of the dash. This happens with cruise control on. In two cases, there was no vehicle in front of me on the road. I could not see any source of radio signal or radar interference (EMI) in the area or nearby. In one case, there were no vehicles nearby, no weather or other radars nearby, only a television translator station about two miles away. The brakes may have been applied in some cases but generally are not. Weather has been sunny and clear in every case when this occurs. So far as I can tell, these are random false alarms with no apparent EMI cause. They seem to be getting less frequent. I get frequent and reproducible lane departure warnings with certain "fog line" configurations used in my state or with random tire skid marks.

THE FIRST TIME I BROUGHT IN TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG AND IT WAS OK. THE SECOND TIME I BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY SAID THEY HAD TO SHAVE THE FRONT ROTORS AND SAND THE BRAKE PADS. THE THIRD TIME I BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY SAID IT HAD DEFECTIVE REAR BENT AXLES AND THEY HAD TO REPLACE THOSE COMPONENTS.

BLUETOOTH HANDSFREE DOESN'T WORK WITH TRUCK AND IPHONE. TALKING TO TACOMA, THEY SAID THAT THEIR SYSTEM CANT KEEP UP WITH APPLY AND THEIR TECHNOLOGY. THIS DOESN'T WORK FOR BEING HANDSFREE ON THE ROAD WHICH IS WHAT TOYOTA ADVERTISES AND IS THE LAW. *TR

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

Transmission shifts when it should not shift! It also jerks when accelerating and maintaining speeds. While in cruse control the truck drops in 20mph in speed really concerning when it would cause a bad wreck while it drops it constantly still jerks and it also floors the truck to get back up to the preselected speed and transmission jerks and studders and drops and speeds back up and so it sounds like it could blow up from it flooring and dropping in speed and flooring it in cruse control This needs fixed and worked out! Transmission shouldnât be jerking or hunting for gears

LANE DEPARTURE: ASSIST
