WINNEBAGO ISSUED A RECALL FOR KIDDE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS OF THE TYPE INCLUDED IN MY MOTORHOME. ON 11 MAY 2018 AFTER AN EXTENSIVE AND DETAILED Q&A PHONE CALL TO THE KIDDE CONTACT # IN THE RECALL THEY DETERMINED I SHOULD RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT FIRE EXTINGUISHER WITH 3 WEEKS OR SO FROM THAT DATE. STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT AS OF 17 JULY2018, AND WHEN I CONTACTED THEM WITH THE REFERENCE # THEY PROVIDED ME, THEY SAID THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO IT, AND THAT I HAD SO START THE PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN. SO FRUSTRATING THAT I SAID I WOULD RATHER REPORT IT TO THIS WEBSITE BECAUSE OF THEIR INACTION AND LACK OF A TRACKING MECHANISM THAT ACTUALLY WORKED.
