I purchased my 2023 Dodge Charger Scatpack 392 on July 22, 2024 and a week later I began to notice that each time I would backup and then shift into drive. There would be a 3 to 4 second delay in the transmission engaging with the drive shaft and when contact was made there's a hard thump that's felt throughout the car. I returned to the dealership and made a complaint about the issue I was having with the transmission and a transmission re-tune was done according to the service technician, but the problem is still persistent. I took it back to the dealership and was told by the service manager that Dodge is aware of the issue customers are having with the transmissions and have stated that the issue is due to fluid fiction and it's normal for the transmissions to respond that way. I don't believe that it's normal for a brand new car to shift that way. Plus it poses a massive safety risk for the driver and other people in the event that the car backs out into traffic and has to wait 3 to 4 seconds before the transmission engages that delay doesn't stop oncoming traffic and doesn't prevent a severe accident from occurring.

Back-up camera: vehicle equipped with an analog camera which at times will not clearly display the view to the rear of the vehicle. Had the camera looked at by the selling dealer who advised that the issue was due to the quality and design of the camera the rear view under certain lighting conditions (in daylight) displayed a washed out display. I have other vehicles with back-up cameras that do not display this condition.

Accelerator pedal was delayed coming back up when pressed. It is available for inspection. Because of this happening while I was parking the car, it collided with a tree about 20 feet in front of it. Iâve also noticed the car will sometimes accelerate on its own at speeds below 20 mph. I am taking the vehicle to a body shop on Monday to get fixed and be inspected.

since the purchase of my vehicle one year ago, my vehicle has consistently had codes that listed output to each headlamp, can bus code, it has also had engine control module code. This started a year ago and as of yesterday it still had codes. The code also include telematics and my infotainment system says fatal error. I have filed multiple complaints withFCA US LLC and have gone to the dealership multiple dealerships many of times. THE DEALERSHIP I PURCHASED IT FROM HAS BASICALLY REFUSED TO FIX IT EVEN THOUGH ITâS UNDER WARRANTY. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE HIGH VOLTAGE AND THE COMMUNICATIONS IN THE VEHICLE ALONG WITH THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. IT SEEMS NO ONE SYSTEM SHOWS. I HAVE RECALLS YET THERE SEEMS TO BE TWO ON THE VEHICLE. ALSO MY SOFTWARE ON THE VEHICLE IS AT STAGE NUMBER 24 AND IT SHOULD BE AT 39 AND NO ONE SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO UPDATE IT

ting to formally report an ongoing and unresolved safety issue with my vehicle that poses a serious risk both to myself and others on the road. The core issue appears to involve high-voltage faults and CAN bus voltage exceeding threshold limitsâlikely tied to the vehicleâs telematics system. Despite this, the vehicle is currently not communicating properly, and the diagnostics data are inconsistent or inaccessible. Here are the key concerns: â¢The vehicle has shut down multiple times while in motion, creating a dangerous situation. â¢It is only achieving ~10 MPG, a drastic drop from expected efficiency. â¢I was explicitly told not to drive it until the problem is resolved due to safety concerns. â¢The dealership has refused to repair the issue and has provided false information regarding diagnostic codes, which Iâve recorded for documentation. â¢This problem has persisted for nearly a year without resolution. At this point, Iâm left with a vehicle that is unsafe to operate and a dealer network unwilling to take accountability. Iâm requesting a formal investigation into this matter, as it may reflect a broader systemic or manufacturer-level issue affecting others as well. I can provide supporting documentation, service records, and recordings of diagnostic readouts as needed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
